Olli Caldwell joins Inter Europol Competition for 2023 ELMS Campaign

Emerging Sportscar driver Olli Caldwell joins the European Le Mans Series as he embarks on a thrilling dual campaign in his rookie year racing in LMP2 class. Teaming up with race-winning Inter Europol Competition, the British racer will tackle the European sportscar championship alongside his duties in the World Endurance Championship with Alpine.

Emerging Sportscar driver Olli Caldwell joins the European Le Mans Series as he embarks on a thrilling dual campaign in his rookie year racing in LMP2 class. Teaming up with race-winning Inter Europol Competition, the British racer will tackle the European sportscar championship alongside his duties in the World Endurance Championship with Alpine. 

Having made the switch to LMP2 following a successful junior career in single-seaters, the talented rookie relishes the chance boost his experience in prototype machinery, as he and his teammates fight for ELMS title honours. Taking to the wheel of the #43 LMP2 Oreca 07 with fellow Gold driver Jonathan Aberdein and Silver driver Rue Andrade 

Inter Europol Competition has an impressive record in the series, having won three races on the bounce last year to put in a championship challenge that went down to the wire at the season finale in Portimao. Olli will look to capitalise on his wealth of experience racing wheel-to-wheel on the infamous European racetracks and work seamlessly with the Polish-based squad as they have full focus on challenging for victory from the off.

Having made the transition to sportscars this year, combining ELMS alongside my full season campaign in World Endurance Championship provides me with the opportunity to get plenty of experience in my first full season in LMP2.

The season gets underway with pre-season testing at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 20th April ahead of the opening Barcelona round on 23rd April, followed by Imola, Paul Ricard, Aragon along with Spa Francorchamps and the season finale at Portimão.
